Grandfather Notice Of Intended Marriage (NOIM) needs to be lodged no more than 18 months & no less than 1 month & 1 day before the day of your ceremony. This means if you want to marry on the 10th of June NOIM must be lodged no later than the 9th of May. The NOIM (form 13) is available from any Court House, Marriage Celebrant, or download from www.ag.gov.au/celebrants

For us to complete the NOIM you need to have your…….

  • Official birth certificate
  • Passport if you were born overseas or your birth certificate
  • Evidence of previous marriage termination
  • Death Certificate if widowed
  • Change of name certificate if your name has been changed other than by previous marriage.
  • The cost of a wedding ceremony is $450.00 If I have to travel over an hour to get to the venue the cost goes up. Kuranda is between the coast and the Tablelands which gives me an advantage to arrive at most venues within the hour, plus I’m a very fast driver, though don’t tell I said that.
